TAM Bead Mill

The TAM Bead Mill is a high-efficiency stirred bead mill system developed for grinding soft minerals — primarily calcite — that are widely used in industrial micronized mineral production, down to ultrafine particle sizes in a dry environment.

The system is designed especially for applications that require high fineness and a narrow particle size distribution, enabling products to be obtained down to d50 ≤ 1 µm levels. Thanks to its special agitator geometry and optimized bead bed, grinding energy is transferred directly and efficiently to the product particles, achieving a controlled particle size reduction process.

Precise control of process parameters such as the density of the grinding media and the product residence time delivers high stability and repeatable product quality. The high energy-density design of the grinding media offers more efficient energy use compared to conventional fine grinding technologies.
