The THC Hammer Crusher is designed for single-stage crushing with a high reduction ratio of medium-soft materials such as limestone, calcite, dolomite, gypsum and coal. The heavy rotor and hammers, rotating at high peripheral speed, break the material by impact and attrition, delivering the ideal feed size for grinding lines.
The hydraulically opening housing is the machine’s most distinctive advantage. The upper section of the housing is opened within a short time by hydraulic cylinders, giving direct and safe access to the rotor, hammers, breaker plates and wear liners. Hammer replacement, liner inspection and routine maintenance can therefore be carried out quickly without a crane or heavy dismantling, minimising downtime and maintenance costs.
Replaceable wear-resistant liners provide a long service life, while the inspection door on the housing allows quick access for daily checks. Thanks to the adjustable crushing gap, the product size can easily be set according to process requirements.
The last three digits of the model name give the rotor width in cm: the THC-090120 has a rotor diameter of Ø900 mm and a rotor width of 1200 mm.
